How often are the monthly average rates updated? +
The monthly average rates are updated on the 25th of each month, as soon as the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (ESTV) publishes the new rates.
Can I be sure the rates are correct? +
The rates are taken over from the ESTV automatically, which rules out manual transcription errors. We still cannot guarantee correctness – for example if there is a problem with the publication on admin.ch – but that is very unlikely.
How far back does the history go? +
We list all monthly average rates for every currency published by the ESTV – back to 2002.
